Bio: Malek Zakaria Majzoub was born in Lebanon on April 11, 1954, and was raised in Detroit, MI. Malek was the son of the late Zakaria Joseph Majzoub and Barbara Lorraine Cox. He attended Detroit Public Schools and furthered his education with a combination of collegiate studies, completing his degree summa cum laude, Six Sigma (Black Belt) accreditations and a host of security and law enforcement achievements. Malek, who accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, was an active member of Bethel Temple Church for many years, serving faithfully as a risk management leader.
Malek retired from Ford Motor Company with 33 years of service, where he oversaw production, logistics, engineering, and procurement. In parallel to his career at Ford, Malek followed his passion for security and law enforcement, and began a second career as a law enforcement officer, serving for over 27 years. He volunteered as a reservist for Oakland County Sheriff in Michigan and continued his service in Virginia as a volunteer for both the Portsmouth Police Department and Portsmouth Sheriff’s Office, ending his watch as Sgt. Malek Majzoub. Malek didn’t stop there…
Malek was the executive vice-president of LHIC, Inc., providing local and international services to their clients. He had extensive experience in cross border transactions for the purchase, shipment, and sale of various commodities. Malek also had extensive security experience. His security background included Virginia State Certified (DCJS) as a Personal Protection Specialist, Executive Protection for CEOs and Royal Saudi Family, and a State Department Security team member. He worked in the US, Africa and the Middle East, and was trained in counter terrorism by the U.S. Navy and FBI. His travels and opportunities took him through Mali, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Benin, Togo, Kenya, and Tanzania. Additionally, Malek was a member of security teams in Iraq and Afghanistan where he provided business and operations management, working as a contractor for Blackwater. Malek was also the Co-Founder of Strategic Security Systems (3SL), a security company located in Sierra Leone, West Africa, and Afghanistan.
As Malek received the spirit of wisdom and revelation according to Ephesians 1:17, he was moved to live out this declaration: 'Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,' (Philippians 3:8 KJV).
Our beloved Malek thoroughly enjoyed living life. He was an awesome husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother, son, and true friend. Malek enjoyed having wonderful gatherings, showing off his culinary skills for his family and friends, or simply having good fellowship with much laughter, learning, and teaching about history. You’d commonly find him engaging in great discussions at the coffee shop or wherever you may have crossed paths, joining him in conversation about solving the world’s problems. In these gatherings, Malek’s faith in the Lord shined bright! |

====================================================================
COVID-19, a flu-like virus, originated in Wuhan, China. Worth a mention, the Chinese Government had a biological research facility in that very province. At this point, it was widely held that COVID-19 was a bat-coronavirus and the first case was discovered in Wuhan in Oct. 2019.
On Dec. 31, 2019, Chinese authorities alerted the World Health Organization of pneumonia cases in Wuhan City, Hubei province, China, with an unknown cause. Jan 7, 2020 Chinese authorities identify a new type of coronavirus (called novel coronavirus or nCoV).
Despite deaths and an entire Chinese Province(Hubei) quarantined by the Chinese Government, the World Health Organization(WHO) simply declares a global public-health emergency. Despite this serious understatement, on January 31st, President Trump bans foreign nationals from entering the US if they were in China within the prior two weeks. Despite a large public outcry of racism, this move likely saved 1000's of American lives, it would later be deemed.
After a full blown global infection, and an entire country being declared on 'Lockdown'(Italy), on March 11th, WHO declared the outbreak a pandemic. This same day, President Trump bans all travel from 26 European countries. On Mar. 13th, a US national emergency is declared over the novel coronavirus outbreak.
On Mar. 23rd, New York City confirms 21,000 cases, making it the biggest epicenter of the outbreak in the US. On Mar. 31, more than 1/3 of humanity is under some form of lockdown. On Apr. 2nd, the world passes one million COVID-19 infections.
On April 7th, roughly 95% of all Americans are under lockdown, as 42 states issue stay-at-home orders. The entire American economy has ground to a halt. Congress passed laws awarding trillions in grants, loans and other types of assistance to the American working population and businesses.
