Officer Rose was killed in a motorcycle accident on Highway 351 while on patrol. A vehicle turned left in front of his motorcycle, causing him to strike it broadside. He was thrown to the ground and suffered fatal injuries.
Officer Rose had been with the agency for 2.5 years and was survived by his wife and son.
