Summary: Officer Teddy Holcomb was killed after he was struck by a car that was fleeing from other officers.

Officer Holcomb had set up a roadblock to help catch a motorist fleeing from other officers. He was standing outside his car when the driver of the fleeing car struck him and then struck his car. Officer Holcomb's wife was also injured. He was using his personal vehicle at the time. He was not working at the time, but a call for his assistance was given over the radio, which he had in his car. He went to assist since they were coming into his village.

Officer Holcomb was survived by his wife.
