Bio: Paul grew up with his three brothers: Tim, Bryon and Jason. He lived in Troy until moving to Waynesville, North Carolina.
Aftger graduating from Haywood County High School, Paul then joined the U.S. Air Force in 1992. After his time in active service, he went to HVAC Training in the Air National Guard in Texas.
Paul later moved back to St.Charles and graduated from the Eastern Missouri Law Enforcement Training Academy in St. Peters on Oct. 2005. He then began working for the Hawk Point Police Dept. and Warren County Sheriff Dept. Paul was a deputy with Warren County and Chief of Police with Hawk Point. Hard work was no stranger to Paul.
In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and hunting. His two special dogs, 'Diesel' and 'Echo' were his constant companions when at home.
Paul will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him. |

Chief Paul Fricke was killed in an automobile accident on Highway 47, near Highway U, at approximately 10:30 am.
It is believed that Chief Fricke's patrol car went off the right side of the roadway, and that he over-corrected, causing his patrol car to cross the highway and strike a utility pole on the left side of the road.
Chief Fricke served as Hawk Point's part-time police chief and also served as a full time deputy with the Warren County Sheriff's Office. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
