Corporal Lemay was killed in a raid on a Mohawk barricade near Oka, Quebec July 1990. He was alive when he reached the hospital but was in cardiac arrest. Attempts to resuscitate him failed.
Corporal Lemay had been with the Sûreté du Québec for 11 years. He is survived by his wife and 1 child.
