Bio: Alex was born in Hoboken, NJ to Alix M. Sable and Arelis N. Sable. He accepted Jesus into his heart at a young age, a decision that greatly influenced his life.
Alex graduated from Hempfield High School in 1999 and joined the United States Marine Corps in 1998. He was a veteran of the Iraq War, completed two tours in Iraq, and served in the USMC as a Sergeant. He honorably served his country for 9 years. He worked for 12 years as manager at Serta Mattress in Lancaster. He later served four years with the York City Police Department as a Patrol Officer and a member of the Quick Response Team of York County.
Alex was married to Rebeca Sable on June 11, 2006. They were married for 12 years. They met in their youth 20 years ago and he was the love of her life. |

Officer Alex Sable died after suffering a heart attack during a SWAT training exercise at Community College of Baltimore County-Dundalk Campus in Dundalk, Maryland, on May 6th, 2018.
He was participating in a SWAT school hosted by the Baltimore County Police Department. The participants were conducting a water rescue training exercise in a campus pool. As Officer Sable exited the pool at the end of the exercise he suffered cardiac arrest. On-site medics and firefighters immediately performed CPR. He was transported to a hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, where he remained until passing away on May 9th, 2018.
