Bio: Dominic was born a son of Edward Sr. and Carol Guida. Known to many as Guida, he grew up in the Hammock of Flagler County and graduated from Flagler Palm Coast High School in 1997.

He attended the Police Academy with St. John’s River Community College and graduated in 2002. Dominic began his almost two-decade career in law enforcement with the Daytona Beach Police Department and shortly thereafter joined the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office where he would achieve a personal goal of becoming a K-9 Deputy. Dominic later would join the Bunnell Police Department where he would rise to the rank of Sergeant. During his law enforcement career he would become a K-9 trainer, a certified FDLE instructor, and would receive many commendations for his community service including the distinguished commendation of Officer of the Year in 2018 by the Columbian Club.

Dominic enjoyed many things including watching college football, especially the Florida State Seminoles, and golfing, but what he loved the most was spending time with his friends and family to whom he was fiercely loyal.
