Summary:
Officer Caleb Ogilvie was shot and killed while responding to a domestic disturbance call at a gas station in the 100 block of N Allegheny Avenue at about 4:30 pm.
As officers responded to the scene a man fatally shot a male relative inside the store. As Officer Ogilvie and an Allegheny County deputy arrived at the location the subject came out of the store armed with a pistol and opened fire on them. Officer Ogilvie and the subject were both fatally wounded during the subsequent exchange of gunfire.
