Bio: Corporal Timothy John O'Connor Jr. was born in Chester, PA. Tim grew up as a bright and spirited individual, filled with a passion for service and an unshakable dedication to his family and community. Tim left a legacy of courage, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the well being of others.

Tim graduated from Henderson High School in West Chester in 2004, where his leadership qualities and sense of justice were evident from a young age. He pursued his calling in law enforcement, studying at the University of Pittsburgh before proudly graduating from the Pennsylvania State Police Academy with the 131st Cadet Class in 2011. His career in law enforcement began with the Avondale Patrol Unit in April of the same year, marking the start of a distinguished and impactful career. Tim was a member of First West Chester Fire Company, 'Fightin 51st'. He served the West Chester area as Second Class Firefighter starting in February 2003.

Throughout his service, Tim was recognized for his exceptional bravery and dedication. He received numerous accolades, including the Commissioner's Area Command Significant Achievement Award and the Blooming Grove Service Award. His commitment to public safety was further honored with the Chester County Manhunt Service Award in 2023, and his pivotal role during the Papal Visit Detail earned him distinction in 2015. Tim's excellence in drug enforcement interdiction was acknowledged when he earned the title of 'Top Gun' in 2018. His expertise also led him to become a certified S.H.I.E.L.D trainer and an Active Shooter Level 1 Train the Trainer.

Tim's profound impact extended beyond his professional achievements. He was a member of the Troop J Vice Unit from 2016 to 2022, he transferred to the Embreeville Patrol Unit, where he was promoted to Corporal. His legacy as a mentor and role model shone brightly during his time as a Chester County Camp Cadet Counselor, guiding young people with the same spirit of excellence and kindness that he embodied.

Tim was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He spent every Sunday during football season watching the Eagles, and every Spring watching the Phillies. His competitive nature also found an outlet on the softball field and the golf course. Tim was a loving husband and a devoted father, Tim cherished watching his daughter Kenzie play soccer and practice Jiu Jitsu, always present with a proud smile and unwavering support. Tim enjoyed family trips to the beach with Casey and Kenzie, and spending quality time together.

To describe Tim as passionate, courageous, and selfless is to capture just a glimpse of the extraordinary man he was. His absence will leave an indelible void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his spirit will continue to inspire acts of kindness, bravery, and solidarity within the community he loved so dearly. Tim's legacy will persist, a testament to a life dedicated to the highest ideals of service and family. His memory will be treasured, and his contributions to law enforcement and his community will never be forgotten.
