| Bio: Trevor Brittin Howard was born in Jonesboro, AR; son of Don and Joni Ray Howard. Trevor was a Hoxie High School Graduate in 2018. He had a passion to help people and loved law enforcement; he started his career as a Jailer at the Lawrence County Jail and then became a Marked Tree Police Officer.
Trevor had a strong Baptist faith and was involved in several worship teams helping youths at the New Life Cathedral, First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge and Paragould, and Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro. He was talented and had a passion for music. He could play the Guitar, Bass, Drums and the Piano; he was an active member of the band, Fallen Within. |

Officer Trevor Howard was killed in a vehicle crash at approximately 2:50 a.m. at the intersection of Broadway and Nathan streets in Marked Tree.
Officer Howard, positioned in the passenger seat, was on patrol with another officer when their patrol truck collided with a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign. The impact of the crash, predominantly on the passenger side of the patrol vehicle, caused the truck to overturn. Officer Howard succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The other officer was transported to NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle was airlifted to Regional One Health in Memphis in serious condition.
